Darlington is one of eleven
Postal Branches throughout the North East, an area that extends from Tyneside to
South Yorkshire. Typical of many mail centres, Darlington is situated
on a mainline railway station between London and Edinburgh. Travel time
from London Kings Cross is two and half hours.
Travel by road is best done
using the nearby A1M. Northbound travellers should leave the motorway
at J57 and enter town via the A66 whilst south bound travellers should
exit at J59 onto the A167. Durham Tees Valley Airport (formerly
Teesside International) is approximately five miles to the east on the
A66.
